SERIOUSLY. I forgot to blog about Sudden Sex‘s release.  I think. I can’t find any reference to it on my blog. WHAT THE HELL, BRAIN?

Ahem. So, catching up –

I have three stories in Alison Tyler’s book of quickies, Sudden Sex, each one representing the different ways I extract stories out of my brains.

Sudden Sex

Two Man Job is the first story I ever wrote on a tablet computer (I’ve since traded the Blackberry for an iPad Mini) and it’s a saucy little bit o’smut about a lovely church-going lady and her other Sunday tradition with her younger handyman. This Sunday, he brings a friend along.

Grace was still surprised Jonathan had agreed to bring Keith to the “Thistle” on Sunday. After she’d quizzed him about the young man she saw him with in town he’d sulked about sharing, but in the end it was just another lesson for him. If he wanted a slice of her time on Sunday, he would have to learn to play nice.

After all, she could find another like him if she wanted. For now, she’d have them both, one at a time.

*insert naughty giggle here*

Helluva Thing sat on my computer FOREVER. Sometimes you come up with an idea, map it out over and over, and it just falls flat each time. Helluva Thing is just such a story — sometimes, all your characters want to do is get naked and have a good time and you just have to go with it, so meet Tabitha and Duke, a not-quite-a-couple-yet couple:

She should have figured it wouldn’t take him long to figure out something was up. It wasn’t often she brought him a home cooked meal. It wasn’t often she bought him the expensive rum. It wasn’t often she put on the really slutty underwear and blew him before dessert.

Lastly there is The Dealmakers, first cousin of Safe For Work (Irresistible) and Name Your Price (Nice Girls, Naughty Sex), all of which came from the same discarded manuscript. Marcus is a little more polished than the other heroes, at least at first glance, but get the object of his office lust alone in a parking garage and he shows his dirtier side.

If he’d reached down and caught the hem of her skirt, drawn it up to her waist and told her he wanted to take her right there, she would have wrapped her legs around his waist and let him ride her into oblivion.
