This month only has 28 days in it, and this year it seems to be extra pissed about it. I started off the month attempting to take a staycation, but that also happened to be the same week the apartment above mine was being renovated. After two days of not getting anything done, I went back to work. One weird mishap after another followed, and so now I walk around paranoid every waking hour.
As challenging as it’s been, February hasn’t been entirely terrible. I had two books snapped up, one of which is the novel-length version of my story “The View From The Thirteenth Floor”, and the other is its follow up. The story is no longer available as a stand-alone free read, but for now anyways you can pay $1 at Amazon for the anthology it’s included in.
Not sure how I feel about writing a series. I always said I wouldn’t do it, but once I got through the first book one of the secondary characters got his hooks into me. I wanted to unravel his story, but I didn’t want to get there right away, so while the second book tells the story of a different couple, this character continues his journey.
Also, you can now get my New Adult novella All To Myself as an ePub through All Romance.
So, suck it, February.
